General usage instructions

IntelliJ IDEA is an IDE famous for its ergonomics and intelligent coding assistance it provides for developers coding in Java, JavaScript and other languages. The Scala plugin extends IntelliJ IDEA’s toolset with support for Scala, SBT, Scala.js, Hocon, and Play Framework. Support for Scala, SBT and Hocon is available for free in IntelliJ IDEA Community Edition, while support for Play Framework and Scala.js is available only in IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate.
Is there an extension for Slick macros? How to find _any_ macro extensions? Thanks.
It would be great if the scalastyle hints provided the rule id when highlighting code errors. Would make temporarily disabling any rules simple :)
version 1.9.2 broken sbt project import. It says: The following source roots are outside of the corresponding base directories: /Users/xxx/git/project/src/main These source roots cannot be included in the IDEA project model. Solution: declare an SBT project for these sources and include the project in dependencies. sbt build works fine and previous version was also fine
Not perfect, but certainly a great way to develop Scala.
For projects with non-trivial SBT configurations/plugins, IntelliJ + Scala is undeniably much more practical than Scala IDE 4.0, which is confused about different dependencies for the SBT *.scal vs. non-SBT *.scala. But more than that, I really love the support for SBT-based configurations. I've been converting all of my Eclipse Scala/Java/AspectJ projects to IntelliJ, getting rid of the Eclipse metadata, expecting that sbt-eclipse instead will take care of generating what's needed, just like IntelliJ's SBT import does.
Nice plugin. Does most of the things quite nicely but it somehow forgot about running current file as script.
Update the plugin to the EAP version to fix the broken Console in 1.4.15 -- follow the instructions here: https://confluence.jetbrains.com/display/SCA/Scala+plugin+EAP
Scala console is broken in the latest plugin 1.4.15
in my plugins setting screen, it says i'm using version 1.4-14.1 of the scala plugin. on this web page (https://plugins.jetbrains.com/plugin/?id=1347) the versions numbers look nothing like that. e.g. 1.4.15 or on this web page (https://confluence.jetbrains.com/display/SCA/Scala+plugin+EAP), if you hover over a download link, the underlying versions also don't look anything like the one on the settings page. so yes, you've thoroughly confused me. can you explain?
IntelliJ IDEA 14.1 & Scala Plugin 1.4.15: Ctrl+Enter in the Scala Console doesn't actually do anything
Idea 14.1: "Scala console" is broken: Ctrl+Enter doesn't work (nothing is being executed)
The latest update 1.4-14.1 doesn't seem to launch the play app once finished compiling. Thank you
Doesn't launch Play2 app for me as well. Sorry guys, but you stole 30 minutes of my life by this update.
Does not allow to run Play2 application. Just compiles source and then stops
Version 1.4 has a bug with renaming, where it eats up 3 CPUs for +10 seconds before allowing renaming to take place.
