Description:

Plugin integrates native Mozilla or MS IE browser using JDIC library. It allows previewing of html documents, live switching browsers used for rendering, opening selection/clipboard/local/remote html documents, evaluating Java Script and viewing browser objects (DOM, etc) for opened pages.
Tested on Windows. Likely to work on Linux and Solaris (not tested). May work on Mac (not tested and NOT recommended now).

When Mozilla browser is not available plugin uses Internet Explorer automatically.

I've installed this and I can't get it to pick up my installation of Firefox. IntelliJ can see all of my browsers but on the settings page for EmbeddedBrowser the only browser listed is IE.

put it in:
(idea installation directory)/plugins
Ex (on my system):
C:\Program Files\JetBrains\IntelliJ IDEA 7.0.3\plugins\
if it is a simple jar just copy it there.
if it is a folder then unpack it and copy.
Moreover you can install plugins online, where idea do installation automatically.
