This plugin helps to generate initial java project layout with the help of Maven Archetypes.

How to use

  • Select archetype group;
  • Select archetype;
  • Enter groupId, artifactId, version for your project;
  • Click on Generate button. New project will be generated in the current directory.

how can you add archetypes and why don't have the same available as with mvn command line? (need the scala archetype)

I can't get it to work, either. Gives this error-message:
[FATAL_ERROR] Maven Embedder execution error: Unable to find the mojo 'org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-archetype-plugin:2.0-alpha-3:create' in the plugin 'org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-archetype-plugin'

Does not work. Pressing the "generate" button does nothing but show the busy sandclock mouse pointer forever.
