This plugin is NOT for JavaFX 2.0 Beta. It only works for JavaFX 1.x. For 2.0, just use the jfxrt.jar as provided in the SDK and build normally.

Even if you\'re using JavaFX 1.x, this plugin is only good for its ability to compile .fx scripts. As for syntax highlighting and code completion, this plugin is worse than the built in text editor, and frequently freezes out of no reason.

Does your plugin works with javafx-sdk2.0-beta?
I'm getting "The selected directory is not valid home for JavaFX SDK".
Thx

Is this plugin in development and continuing alive?
It was already 2.5 month the version 0.4 was released. I would expect this plugin in IDEA Maven project, because the Netbeans is not able to use Maven with JavaFX in project files. Therefore you have to make hacks and change project files manually.
I am using JFROG. When we will have finally full working IDEA with JavaFX support plugin and Maven project?

I am working with the Jetbrains folks to get this plug-in released as open source so we can continue to develop it as part of the Visage project: http://visage-lang.org/

Actually, the JavaFX One will be opensourced by Stephen Chin in project called Visage. Oracle has only one condition to do so, Java based API for current JavaFX. Thus the Oracle will backup JavaFX One as an alternative script language in Visage project.
