I have noticed that plugins are missing in the repository that is accessible via IntelliJ/Plugins pane. Same for Ruby. Did the policy for providing Python and Ruby for IntelliJ Ultimate changed or is just something wrong with the repository? I didn't find anything related to that.
Any ETA on the Leda availability? I'm pretty much on v12 and not going back to 11.

Hi ... I am a beginner programmer here so need some step by step path to use Intellij for Python language. i have the Intellij 11 and want to use it for programming with python, i have done these steps: 1- install the Intellij 2- download and apply the plugin python-177 from the open plugin manager in te opening page of Intellij and it says: Python(incompatible) can someone guide me how to do it
I'm using version 2.7.1 of this plugin in IntelliJ 10.5 Ultimate and Refactor->Rename still doesn't work. Usages are successfully highlighted in the editor but only the selected one is renamed.
I'm using IDEA 9.0.3 and just installed this plugin and am getting the same missing dependency error as previous posters. Is there a way I can work around this?
I'm really glad there's python support in IDEA. Unfortunately the 2.6.2 plugin doesn't work in IdeaX 98.117 for me though it worked in the previous version of IdeaX. Did python support get dropped for IdeaX?
Comments:
Can someone there try debugging with the python plugin?
idea 11.0.1, plugin 2.8.1, on macOs 10.6.8 with python 2.7.2
I've looked on http://youtrack.jetbrains.net/issues/PY and this is a known issue.
in Idea9, it used to start in /parent/app
and now it starts in /parent.
This messes up importing models, etc.
