the visual designer generates the setSecret() on textfields and setMargin() on AbsoluteLayout. Both are not anymore available in Vaadin 7.

Just upgraded to intellij 12.1 and the plugins seems to be incompatible :(

No. Because there is some issue http://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-87919 to prevent using IDEA with JDK7. Furthermore without JetBrains officially switch form JDK6 to JDK7 there is no ability to develop plugins with JDK7 feautures.

Added 1.5.2 version with latest Vaadin 7.0.2 support. Mac crash issue deeply related to some native libraries (swt and swt to swing bridge library). At the moment I have no alternatives to this libraries and cannot replace it with an open source analog. The only way to do this is wait for JetBrains migration to JDK7 with build in web browser. Sorry for inconvenience.

This could easily be the worst maintained plugin. Vaadin 7 and 7.0.1 is out but this one only supports RC1. the demo app is not in sync with the new UI framework. crashed on mac on the click of the designer tab. Considering the quality IntelliJ idea brings to the table, someone should fix this or completely remove the support or release the source code so someone else can fix it. It bringing the impression of IntelliJ down.

Great plugin, but unfortunately the editor crashes on OSX in Ultimate 12.02 so I have to revert to Idea 11 to get my Vaadin work done. I looked into any crashlog but it seems like it crashes so hard there isn't any!
