Scala goes through far too many iterations to where we need to depend on the latest version of the plugin to match, and when the only version of IntelliJ that can use the newest plugin is the EAP release, you're hurting developers.

Doesn't really work in IntelliJ 12.0.4 as it should be.
Been using this plugin for a long time now and it beats the crap out of the Scala-IDE for Eclipse, which has to do with the limitations and quirks of Eclipse, I guess. However, this plugin provides a Java-level experience for serious and professional Scala developers. Also very helpful for starting Scala developers, as the assists, inspections and advice provided are really helpful most of the time.
Cosmolev, I was having the exact same problem. I *just* downloaded the most recent version of Idea (12.0.4), after having uninstalled scala plug-in completely from 12.0.2, then I reinstalled scala plugin (0.7.134), and so far, things seem to be working.
After the update from 0.7.89 to 0.7.134 I have a message "Plugin is incompatible with current IntelliJ IDEA installation". Any ideas on how to solve this problem? I have the latest 12.0.2 version of IDEA.
First let me say that the Scala Plugin is excellent and I love it. Would be very nice if I could use it also with the newest idea12 preview (that's version 123.4).

Now it understands implicit convertions of liftweb (in particular very frequent in snippets strToCssBindPromoter)! My code is not full of red colors anymore!
It was working with a previous version of the plugin, since I am on 11.1.3 (Community Edition) and using the latest version of the plugin, it fails. I am getting a dependency error: "Plugin Scala depends on unknown plugins com.intellij.spring, Coverage, com.intellij.persistence" Which others plugin should be installed? I tried with the development plugin, but I am still getting the same error. I tried also with the nighly version: same error.
