It is very good, but I would really like to have debugging support for lein tasks. Lein is pretty much exclusively used for building clojure code, so proper support for it within the La Clojure plugin seems to make sense.
Thank you for providing fix for 2 of the 3 problems with debugger in version 0.5.228. Scrolling after breakpoint is hit works now. Also, Variables pane shows values of vars and locals.
The debugging feature described above is broken (see issue CLJ-161). Does anyone have any alternatives to suggest until this issue gets fixed? Anyone running debugging successfully in any Edition/version of IntelliJ?

Nor can I see local variables in the debugger. When I evaluate a variable in the Watches pane, I can see values only if the name of the VAR does not have a hyphen (otherwise it treats it like a minus). Is this expected with La Clojure? Can I remedy this somehow? Thanks in advance.
I am using IntelliJ Community edition 12.0.1 with La Clojure plugin (v0.5.164) but cannot seem to get debugging to work right. I apparently was able to setup breakpoints, but when I invoke debugger, I cannot see the cursor stepping through the clojure code. Nor can I see local variables in the debugger. I did setup a Clojure Facet in my project. What am I missing or is debugging not supposed to work yet? I also tried the -main route (giving -m flag to clojure.main) but that does not work at all for the run config as it always expects a script file. Will appreciate any pointers.
La Clojure is by far the best clojure dev plugin this side of IDEs :) La Clojure (together with the Leiningen plugin) just feels right. That said, I'd like to set the environment variables for the Clojure Console (REPL). My Hadoop/Cascalog work requires more memory than what the JVM is allocated by default and I'd like to be able to set parameters such as -Xmx768m when starting the repl. I managed to extract the plugin.xml and change the idea-version tag to support 11.1.3 by changing the 'since-build' to match the build I have: This is working, but on first look, rainbow parens isn't working. As there are no release notes for the most recent two versions we have no clue as to what is happening with the plugin. It still seems like a very rudimentary plugin though. Command+Click (I'm using OS X) does not take you to declarations in third party code. Would be nice to have a "download sources" if not available, or drill down into the jar file if not a compiled jar. Anyway, hoping we can get debugging in leiningen too as I can't run a lein task with the debugger, like: ring server. Any pointers or documentation would be appreciated.
The current plugin XML restricts the use of the plugin to IDEA v12: https://github.com/JetBrains/la-clojure/blob/clojure-idea-12/META-INF/plugin.xml#L20 From what I see in the diffs from the latest v11 compatible release, there seems to be no real issue in supporting both v11 and v12 with the latest plugin code. I'm currently unable to try it myself, can anyone try to alter the plugin.xml and give it a shot on Intellij11?
same as briggs: I have IDEA ultimate 11.1.3 - go to the plugin manager and installing from there pulls down 0.4.216. Manually installing 0.5.7 says plugin not supported in this version of IDEA. Any update likely soon?
