I don't know if this is plugin or pycharm related but LiveEdit breaks also PyCharm on Windows7. Reported here: http://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/PY-9214

It would really be helpful if the intellij plugin would also display the browsers console logging somewhere in a dockable window. This would be a workaround for that chrome issue that won't let me display the console logging while live-editing using intelliJ.

All I really want is to refresh the browser everytime the file is saved. This extra stuff is nice, but I can't seem to get this plugin to work with anything other than html files served as file:// which makes this plugin pretty much useless when file is served as an asset in basically every java server web framework. Currently I use emacs for editing these files since a simple hook allows me to save and refresh the browser after every keystroke, additionally I can make the window transparent so when I don't have multiple monitors available I can still see the changes as I type which is really awsome... but I don't really like emacs and I wish I could do the same thing in intellij where I do all my other coding.

@vanjan I would use IntelliJ IDEA 12 builds (confluence.jetbrains.net/display/IDEADEV/IDEA+12+EAP). There's an IDEA 11-compatible version but it's basically frozen and will not get new features and updates.

It's an awesome feature, would like it to be configurable for MVC frameworks though, would probably require some sort of file-url mapping. Certainly keeping track of its new features because it's potentially (and in some ways already) a real time-saver, especially working in a dual screen setting.
