Description:

Compare contents of 2 tabs or panes (including ones not visible at the same time) from caret or selection start to end of file. Found in Search menu. Compares the last 2 panes that had focus, within a project. Caret is moved to the first position in both panes that differs.

Please remove this plugin as kills IDE

Have to remove manually from
~/.IntelliJIdea70/config/plugins/ComparePanes

Looks like this plugin is dead for a long time. It could work in Idea5 but it doesn't work in newer versions.

It can be installed, but it can not be used.
IDEA IDE doesn't start.
You can fix the IDE by removing the following folder under Windows in your directory : .IntelliJIdea70/config/plugins/ComparePanes.

JetBrains: Please remove this plugin, or give a short workaround for all OS.

This plug in should be removed. It screws up IntelliJ 6!!!

Plugin Compare Panes failed to initialize:
com.intellij.openapi.util.IconLoader$CachedImageIcon
Please Remove the plugin and restart IntelliJ IDEA.

Can't find plugin to disable. This completely killed my IDE.
