Hi I just downloaded the nodejs plugin for IntelliJ. Where do I place it in order to IntelliJ to recognize it ? tnx

Marc, the best solution to have the latest and the greatest NodeJS plugin is: 1) Open Settings dialog and select Plugins there. 2) If NodeJS plugin is already installed then right click NodeJS plugin and invoke "Update Plugin" action (this menu item is available if there is a newer version to install). 3) If NodeJS plugin isn't installed then click "Browser repositories...", find there NodeJS plugin and install it. Note: manual NodeJS plugin installation (using "Install plugin from disk...") may break compatibility. Don't do it unless you are sure.

How would I figure out which fixes to pull? I would assume the date would be the latest but the version #s do align that way. How would I ensure latest and greatest? marc

I am using Leda IU 122.592 and the plugin just keeps throwing this error: NoSuchMethodError: com.intellij.javascript.JavaScriptReferenceContributor$JSModuleReference.(Ljava/lang/String;ILcom/intellij/openapi/util/TextRange;Lcom/intellij/psi/impl/source/resolve/reference/impl/providers/FileReferenceSet;[Ljava/lang/String;)V: com.intellij.javascript.JavaScriptReferenceContributor$JSModuleReference.(Ljava/lang/String;ILcom/intellij/openapi/util/TextRange;Lcom/intellij/psi/impl/source/resolve/reference/impl/providers/FileReferenceSet;[Ljava/lang/String;)V The plugin version is 122.624

@TheChrisPratt: Can't reproduce the issue on Win7 64-bits. Please specify what actions you had done before IDEA became frozen. What "Node.js sources location" did you choose? Please file an issue in the http://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues/WI#newissue=yes . Attach to the issue a thread dump of frozen IDEA at the problem moment (follow http://devnet.jetbrains.net/docs/DOC-260).

My 11.1.3 (Windows 64-bit) is hanging when I attempt to Configure the Core Module Sources. Is this a known problem? Is there a work-around?

Lot's of JavaScript fixes in this one, great to see it getting some love in cioaprmson to PHP . Hopefully we can get all the Node guys using WS which will really help push the JS envelope. WS is already better than anything else out there at working around JS's lack of consistency around module/type structure, but it could be so much better

I can't stop node process any more, when I click stop button, it changes the icon to a skeleton without killing the process.

If you need some specific feature, please file an issue in the http://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues/WI#newissue=yes (select Node.js as a subsystem).
We will be happy to implement it.

@chrismo: I've successfully installed NodeJS plugin v0.2.2 (since-build="111.0" until-build="114.0") in RubyMine 4.0.2. If you still have problems please file an issue in the http://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues/WI#newissue=yes (select Node.js as a subsystem).

@serkangunes: If you are able to download Node.js sources archive manually in browser and plugin can't do the same than it's a bug. Please file an issue in the tracker.

Version 0.2.2

I am trying to configure sources for node.js, I click download and configure button, plugin tries to download node.js source.

Every time when download progress bar reaches the end, it gives an error and asks me to retry. I tried this with an http proxy as well but I got the same error. I can download this file manually.

Is there a way to setup this plugin manually?
