"Plugin Play 2.0 Support of version 0.2.49 is icompatible with Scala plugin of version 0.10.279". Is fix for this issue expected as applied to IDEA 2.1?
I use IntelliJ IDEA 12.1.3 . I had the Scala 0.7.xxx plugin and it was working fine with the "Play 2.0 Support" plugin version 0.2.49 . When I upgraded Scala to 0.10.279 ( because IDEA wanted me to) , now when I start IDEA it complains and says 0.10.279 is incompatible but allows me to leave it enabled. So, I tried to update the "Play 2.0 Support" plugin to the latest version and now its completely hosed. I believe I need to revert my upgrades back but I am unsure how to downgrade the Scala plugin.
Ok previous instructions were not the whole story, that made Play plugin finally work but not scala. Even though Scala plugin was installed and included as a facet for a project it wasnt compiling scala sources. Ok, go to project structure find scala plugin inside FAcets and remove it ... save exit. Install Scala 2.10 anywhere on your box and right click project and pick add framework support...pick scala and specify your scala home. That's it. Create new run configuration and you dont have to use external console anymore. Simple eh? :-)I guess that's why they pay us big buck :-)
For all those still suffering with this plugin found way to make it work. Go to plugins uncheck Playframework and Scala.... the browse repositories and load both from there.... silly but it works ... Thanks IntelliJ team for "prompt reply"
I bought the update to 12 just because of this plugin. Please fix it. I don't even get the latest version of this plugin shown in the represority. Tried to install it per hand... didn't work.
Cant install on Leda 129.6 Have wasted many hours trying different version combinations of IntelliJ / play plugin, to no avail. Can't afford to burn any more time on this plugin, and will need to go back to ScalaIDE for any play dev work. I'd recommend checking this plugin out when its a closer to being ready. I look forward to that day.

I can't update the plugin to the newest version. Any idea?
I am on latest 12.0.4 Ultimate and trying to create/import Play 2.1.0 with no luck. Create new project shows no Play module and when trying to import existing Play project ( which has been morphed into Idea project with stb) gives me message no frameworks were detected. Hope this is going to get fixed asap. Doeas this plugin actually works with 2.1 or only with 2.0?
