Do not require ansible cli tool to be installed!
This plugin adds the ability to modify encrypted Ansible® Vaults. To open the editor you need to open an encrypted Ansible® AES256 vault -> press Alt+Enter and select Modify Vault
Great plugin with a lot of potential, but it’s not quite usable for our setup yet. A couple of suggestions:
Add support for batch encryption/decryption of files—a must for projects managing multiple encrypted files.
Let the plugin look for the ansible.cfg file in the project root or allow specifying a custom folder. Ours is tracked in Git and not in home directories, which is pretty common in team setups.
A useful plugin. But the java File.canExecute() function under windows gives a very non-obvious result, so vault_password_file will not work. The text file will always try to be executed, the attempt certainly will be unsuccessful and the user will see a password request.
